The Canada Policy Manual vacation and attendance tracker is a free tool for Canadian employers to calculate minimum vacation time, vacation pay, and accrual, and to keep a neutral attendance record. It covers every Canadian province and territory except Quebec, plus federally regulated workplaces under the Canada Labour Code. All amounts are in Canadian dollars.
The tracker is privacy-first: every employee and attendance entry is stored only in your browser on your device, never uploaded to a server. Each calculation is produced by deterministic, hard-coded rules drawn from each jurisdiction's official employment-standards source — no figures are invented. When a situation requires human judgment, such as a collective agreement, a contract that exceeds the statutory minimum, a service threshold crossed partway through a vacation year, or a rule that has not yet been hand-verified, the tool labels the result "manual review required" rather than returning a confident but uncertain number.
This tool provides general information about minimum employment standards in Canada (excluding Quebec) and is not legal advice. Always confirm specific entitlements and decisions with the official source for the relevant jurisdiction and a qualified professional.
